Lisa Smith, LICSW earned her Bachelor degree, cum laude, from Texas Christian University before pursuing her Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas. While in graduate school, Lisa started working with children and families, which blossomed into a career working with those in and entering foster care upon her graduation. She continued developing this focus working in the juvenile justice system with families of repeat offenders.
More recently, she has acted as social worker for children and families through the military mental health system. Lisa is currently working as a social worker in crisis intervention in local hospitals throughout Western Washington, while tirelessly pursuing her academic quest to keep abreast of the latest therapy and treatments.
