Jackson Blackburn, Wilderness Therapy Field Instructor

After growing up in Boise Idaho, Jackson Blackburn spent the next five years acquiring a biology Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, and working with teens for the Oregon Social Learning Center. Jackson has spent the last two years as a summer camp counselor and supervisor for high school aged campers and an outdoor educator for the Colorado Outdoor Education Center. After two seasons as a ski instructor, Jackson is highly enthusiastic to be with students at Rites of Passage this summer. He greatly enjoys being a mentor and helping others work through a variety of past and present issues.Jackson is a Healthcare provider (CPR & AED) and wilderness First Responder His skills and experience working with youth in an outdoor setting make him a wonderful Field Instructor for us.
