Reasons For Lack of Motivation

Many factors can weigh in on the lack of motivation or effort in teens, pre-teens, and young adults. Some may be hidden health concerns that haven’t been addressed, such as problems seeing well. Others can be that it is just an urge to resist doing things others have told them. No matter the case, the compassionate and caring staff here are ready to help.

Wilderness Therapy: What Is It?

Many people have an idea in mind that this is a boot camp of sorts. However, that’s not how it is run. This is not a military-style boot camp with drill sergeants. This experience helps teach skills to the participants in a variety of life areas.

We start with an orientation and move into the other phases of the program. The participant will learn items such as communication skills with others, cooking, problem-solving, and interacting with others. Through guided peer evaluations and family therapy, we can address the motivation factors to find what works best for your loved one.
