Wilderness Therapy for Substance Juvenile Delinquents

Wilderness Therapy for Substance Juvenile Delinquents

It can be heartbreaking for parents to watch their kids go through tough times. Some teens go through rough periods, and are able to get through them with nary a scratch, but other teens seem to get stuck, especially if they are abusing alcohol and drugs. The use of alcohol and drugs often leads to problems with the law, which can be tough on the family as a unit. Parents may not know where to turn to get kids the help that they need. Here at Rites of Passage NW, we offer wilderness therapy for substance juvenile delinquents, to get them rehabilitated and back to normal life, on the road to recovery.
Wilderness Therapy for Substance Juvenile Delinquents

As a substance abuse treatment facility, we expect our teens to fully participate in the process of sobriety, making a commitment to themselves and the 12-step way of life. We also have professional medical staff and therapists here to help teens through tough issues, such as anxiety, depression, and anger.

Teens are under a lot of stress, and we teach them coping mechanisms to better deal with the trials and tribulations of daily life. Before they leave Rites of Passage NW, they will have more tools in their toolbox, so to speak.

As a working ranch, teens will also learn how to garden and farm, as well as be expected to participate in volunteering in the community, working, or attending online classes during their stay here. We have our kids get back to nature, between wilderness exercises, hiking, and other outdoor activities. We feel with hiking and introspection, teens can follow the road to recovery.
