Wilderness Therapy For Mental Health

Home   »   Wilderness Therapy For Mental Health

Mental health is a topic that is gaining more recognition as society is working to help those who deal with concerns. Whether it is you that is struggling, or your child, the first and most important thing to realize is that you’re not alone! That’s why there are options out there for teens and young adults that are looking for opportunities to help. Here at Rites Of Passage, we provide wilderness therapy for mental health to teens, young adults, and pre-teens. Our program can help your child who is making poor decisions to get on the right path.

The Program

The program itself is designed to help those struggling with mental health to learn ways of coping and making better decisions. These options are created to help participants engage in fun activities while facing the complex challenges they deal with daily. The instructors are all trained and certified to assist participants in getting back on track with challenges both physically and mentally.

We strive to empower your child to take charge of items such as shelter, cooking, directions and navigation during the trek, and even camping. Through the various activities your child will be engaged in, they learn to work together with others, face challenges that come their way, and develop healthy relationships with others. This is one of the best Northwest therapy options to help your loved one learn to deal with their challenges and how to live productively with them around others.
