At Rites of Passage, weight loss is not all about strenuous physical exercise. Although our students will participate in their fair share of physical activities, they quickly learn weight loss is more about education.
Taking responsibility for their daily activities while on wilderness treks and adventures, our students learn they are held accountable for the choices they make in daily life as well as the consequences of those choices.

At Rites of Passage NW, your teen will learn to live a healthier lifestyle by first gaining the understanding they have the ability to make change to their behaviors by taking responsibility of their actions and choices.
Without conscious thought, our students will have fun, lose weight and detox their body’s of the sugars and fats they have been consuming. They will learn how to prepare delicious holistic meals.
Empowering our students to utilize these tools while participating in our programs, preparing to return home and sharing with their families a healthier style of life is our goal.
