Many of us have witnessed it and a few of us have even experienced it; that teasing and mocking of the overweight teenager at school, on the playground or on the street.
Teens can take all of our diet instruction and planning home with them, so that they can continue to eat well even after successful discharge. We will teach them how to eat a balanced diet, but also not to feel as if they can’t enjoy eating.

Teens will go adventure hikes and wilderness treks through the woods. Not only will they learn survival skills, such as making camp, but they also participate in these exercises as part of a team, and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Diet is a major component of our program. Here, teens will eat a completely holistic diet, and will also learn how to calorie count and meal plan. We teach that healthy food can taste good, and that dieting and eating right doesn’t have to be a bore.
