Long Term Drug Treatment Program in Washington

Long Term Drug Treatment Program in Washington

The abuse of alcohol and drugs is extremely prevalent in the United States, and especially among teenagers. Some teenager simply experiment and move on, while others require a little more help to be free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol. Parents may often feel helpless, and may not know where to turn to get their child help. Counselors at schools have a full schedule, and weekly therapy is not always the solution for every child.   For a more intense treatment, Rites of Passage NW offers a long term drug treatment program in Washington for those teens that require extra help. With our combination of conventional and outdoor therapies, we can help any child recover from drug and alcohol addiction.

We do have more conventional therapies in our program, such as individual therapy, and group therapy with peers. We also offer unique experiences such as equine therapy, wilderness therapy, and rites of passage therapy. Beyond therapy, our students are also expected to learn about accountability and responsibility. Teenagers in our facility will volunteer in the local neighborhood, and will also learn how to socialize and interact with adults and peers. Lastly, we expect our students to find gainful employment. Being at once with nature, we have found, is a terrific way for troubled teens to rediscover their worth and their true potential. Our teenagers will also practice introspection and journal writing during their stay at Rites of Passage.
