What is Life Coaching?
When a person is a teenager, it’s tough to imagine the “five-year plan.” It’s even tough for adults sometimes. When someone asks a teenager, especially a teen in trouble, what their goals are, they may not have an answer.
Part of what life coaching is about is not only realizing goals, but forming a plan to attain them. Serious life coaching begins here at Rites of Passage NW after our teens have been through significant therapies and phases in our program. It is incredibly hard to set goals when someone is still in the throes of drug and alcohol addiction, so we first address the problems and circumstances that led to a troubled teen’s present life. After therapy has been well-established, we can now look toward the future, not disregarding the past, but learning from it.
Here at Rites of Passage NW, our experienced life coaches form a special bond with each of their pupils, forging a road that leads to a happy, healthy life that is free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol.
