South West Trek Program

Taking place in the Deschutes, Ochoco and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests, our South West Trek Program removes troubled youth from destructive urban environments. Free of distractions, harmful influences, and comfort zones, students can confront the bigger issues they are facing, while participating in healthy, fun wilderness expeditions. When everything else is stripped away, students can focus on what is most important to them and begin to figure out a better way to make decisions, to redirect behavior, to live. Designed for adolescents aged 10-17 and young adults aged 18-28 with behavioral, emotional, and substance abuse concerns.
