The 6 Week Intensive Program: What’s Included?

Enrollment Fee Includes

  • All individual equipment, which is theirs to take home upon graduation
  • All logistics, field planning and permits
  • Transportation from Seattle airport and between all five locations of our program

6-Week Intensive Program Includes:

1. Phone interviews

With referring professionals, family members and students (where appropriate).

2. Individualized Treatment Planning

A comprehensive plan involving past evaluations from outside professionals, and specific target treatment areas including short-term objectives and long-term goals.

3. Ongoing Clinical Services

Individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Nutritional monitoring, health services, weekly wellness check-ups. 

4. Ongoing Clinical Services for Family

Weekly family therapy, progress reports with photos and videos of your children at Rites of Passage NW Wilderness Therapy. A full family program at graduation (airfares and accommodation not included).

5. Treatment Planning and Coordination

With outside professionals, regular phone updates with educational consultants, home therapists, and prospective aftercare services.

6. Life Coaching

A session with our Life Coach for aftercare alternatives.

7. Full Aftercare Planning:

Ongoing collaboration with family, educational consultants, home therapists, residential programs, therapeutic boarding schools and other related professionals for a smooth transition after graduating Rites of Passage NW Wilderness Therapy.

8. All Equipment and Clothing provided:

From hiking boots to backpacking equipment, kayaks and sporting equipment, sleeping gear and equipment for all outdoor sports and games.

9. All Educational Material and Course Manuals:

Includes but is not limited to: workbooks; art supplies; coursework; Psych-Ed classes; ecology and “leave no trace.”

10. Holistic Food Program:

Developed by our nutritionalist, it combines high-quality local, whole and organic foods. A great nutrition program designed to completely detox each student from the inside out.

11. Transportation:

Pick-up from Seattle airport, and in between all our adventure site locations.


What is NOT included?

Students are responsible for airfare to and from Seattle, as well as any medication or nutritional supplements.

Rites of Passage NW Wilderness Therapy provides expedition-based wilderness therapy programs for troubled adults, youth, teens and children who are struggling with a wide array of disorders and behavioral concerns.
