Phase 2

During phase two residents will become integrated into the community through support groups. During this phase residents will be doing one on one therapy and group therapy. They will be meeting with an intensive outpatient group or with our chemical dependence staff members. Residents will continue their life skills classes and get to know the other residents. On weekends residents pick group activities and explore new activities to incorporate into their lives. Once residents embrace their treatment plans they will start to add in their community level activities to compliment their programs such as volunteering and education. We want residents to completely embrace their recovery before we add in other activities as we don’t want anyone to be distracted from their primary goal of recovery.

Sobriety is more than simple abstinence. A fresh start in a clean, safe and sober environment is essential to building the foundation of a sober lifestyle; this foundation allows an individual to develop the tools and skills needed for a sober, successful and fulfilling future.

At the Rites of Passage Ranch Long Term Care Program, we hope to provide individuals with the basic skills necessary to enhance not only their own lives, but also the lives of family and friends around them.
