At Rites of Passage NW, we understand these challenges and offer effective programs designed to show these teens and young adults they have the skills and ability to make change in themselves.

Wilderness Therapy

At Rites of Passage, our wilderness therapy program takes on a more unique and natural approach to working with our students. Keeping the individual involved in the treatment process is important.

Wilderness Therapy Programs

Working with our trained and experienced on staff counselors, therapists and nutritionists as well as our qualified wilderness guides, our students become better individuals through wilderness therapy programs.

Troubled Youth Programs

As parents, we empathize with our kids. When they hurt, we hurt, when they struggle, we struggle, when they need help, we do everything we can to get them the best.

Programs for Troubled Youth

At Rites of Passage, we combine health and wellness with mental health. Our programs are designed for our students to experience all three of these necessities for healthier living.

Camps for Troubled Youth

Our ‘rites of passage’ approach to therapy not only encourages our students to take responsibility for their actions but accept the consequences of any decisions made.

Programs for Troubled Young Adults

At Rites of Passage Wilderness Therapy, we offer effective programs for troubled young adults.

Camps for Troubled Young Adults

Rites of Passage is an alternative to a traditional boot camp. We believe many of the poor choices made by youth and young adults should not necessarily be punished but the reasons those poor choices were made be discovered and treated.

Wilderness Adventure Therapy

At Rites of Passage, we believe that having our students as far away from the influences and chaos of everyday life allows them to freely open their minds, reflecting honestly on their past behaviors, think of where they are at present and consider their behaviors of the future.

Wilderness Therapy for Troubled Youth, Teens and Young Adults

Here at Rites of Passage NW, we offer wilderness therapy for troubled youth, teens and young adults that can help teens get through the hard times and come out the other side.

Wilderness Therapy for Substance Juvenile Delinquents

It can be heartbreaking for parents to watch their kids go through tough times. Some teens go through rough periods, and are able to get through them with nary a scratch, but other teens seem to get stuck, especially if they are abusing alcohol and drugs.

Wilderness Therapy Treatment for Drugs and Substance Abuse

At Rites of Passage NW, we offer wilderness therapy treatment for drugs and substance abuse, that can not only help troubled teens get sober, but stay sober.

Wilderness Therapy Treatment for Anxiety

Anxiety is an invisible culprit, and those struggling with it may have a hard time explaining it to other people. A person that lives with anxiety lives their life in avoidance, avoiding things, places, and people that makes them anxious.

Wilderness Therapy for Depression

Parents often feel helpless when their teenager is experiencing any type of mental health problem, and may not know where to turn when their teen is experiencing major depression. Parents may try school guidance counselors, or may take their teen to weekly therapy or the family doctor for some medication.

Wilderness Therapy For Oppositional Defiant Disorder – ODD

For those suffering with oppositional defiant disorder, also known as ODD, therapy can be tough. Here at Rites of Passage NW, we offer wilderness therapy for oppositional defiant disorder – ODD to help teens get back on track.

Wilderness Therapy For Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD

We offer wilderness therapy for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD, that can really help teens manage their lives with or without the use of medication.

Wilderness Therapy For Substance Conduct Disorder Treatment

When parents are dealing with teenagers that are battling alcohol and drugs problems, the feelings involved can be that of heartbreak and helplessness. Teens with persistent substance abuse problems may be running out of options, and parents may be tired of taking their kids to weekly therapy, local detoxes, or rehabs.
